A higher strength blended malt whisky – named WaterProof because water is required for whisky making, and the “Proof” of this dram is stronger.

The bottling is produced by MacDuff International – a whisky company with a fair few excellent expressions under their belt.

The dram itself contains spirit from a few of Scotland’s best malt whisky distilleries, which have been aged in a combination of first and second fill Bourbon and Sherry casks.

Waterproof serves up notes of rich dried fruits, dates, some toffee apples, espresso, toasted malt, vanilla, fresh raspberries and cherries, light oak, a little woodsmoke and soft baking spices.

This whisky is bottled at 45.8% ABV and in packaging inspired by the Mackintosh waterproof jacket – a necessity for Scottish life!
