A mysterious dram from an unnamed Speyside distillery, bottled for Signatory Vintage’s long-running Un-Chillfiltered range.

All we know is that this dram comes from a “traditional, family-run distillery in Speyside, Scotland,” and while there aren’t too many more of those left, there are a few options in Speyside.

Aged in a single refill butt for 12 years, this whisky has picked up notes of sweet marmalade, vanilla, delicate oak, malt, floral honey, apples, pears, hay and shortbread biscuits.

The spirit is presented at 46%, and without chill-filtration or colouration.
