A small batch American whiskey from the Uncle Nearest brand.
Uncle Nearest is a whiskey company based in Tennessee, named after Nathan ‘Nearest’ Green, a former enslaved man who taught Jack Daniel how to distil.
This whiskey has been selected and blended by Victoria Eady Butler, the great-great-granddaughter of Nathan ‘Nearest’ Green. The spirit is said to be a minimum of seven years old, and has been bottled at 46.5% ABV.
Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch offers up notes of caramelised apples, popcorn, toasted oak, pears, creamy vanilla, fresh cornbread, nutmeg, cinnamon and woodsmoke.
Another really impressive and well-made whiskey from Uncle Nearest.
