A blended malt whisky from Togouchi, a company notable for aging their spirit in a unused rail tunnel.

A mixture of single malts that have been aged for between three and nine years, in combination of sherry and bourbon barrels. Included in the blend is a small amount of peated spirit, adding to this dram’s complexity.

Togouchi Pure Malt offers up notes of nougat, vanilla, toffee, citrus, apricot, gentle peat, dark chocolate, toasted nuts, creamy honey and light oak.

A lovely little Japanese offering, beautifully presented in a ceramic-style bottling.
