A wonderful gin from the heart of northern England. This gin is named after Thomas Dakin, who founded a gin distillery in the late 1700’s in nearby Warrington. This distillery would later produce the famous Greenall’s. At the time, most gin was of a poor quality, but Dakin was a trailblazer, who produced a gin of purity and superiority for its time. This gin is produced using 11 botanicals including the Indonesian cubeb pepper, angelica, English coriander, juniper, orange peel, and liquorice. The difference maker is the addition of horseradish, which adds spice and brightens the spirit. An incredibly delicious gin, refreshing and full-bodied with a spritely spice.
