A miniature bottling of this tasty vivid turquoise gin.

This gin has been produced at the London Distillery, under the watchful eye of the veteran distiller Charles Maxwell, for Spanish sherry makers Gonzalez Byass.

The gin is made with a base of English grain neutral spirit, created using the highest quality grain from Suffolk and Norfolk. This gin uses 12 botanicals juniper, liquorice, orris root, cinnamon, almond, bergamot, savory, coriander, angelica root, cassia, lemon peel and orange peel.

The spirit also has a long maceration with gardenia flowers, giving it this blue hue.

The overall profile is rather similar to earl grey tea, with notes of mint, lemon, earthy spice, nuts, and pine-like juniper. Despite the name, this gin is closer to the more modern Spanish gins than the traditional London Dry in style.
