Also known as Teacher’s Highland Cream, this is one of the all time classic blended whiskies. One of few blends that has maintained its constituency, Teacher’s relies upon a good base of Ardmore peated highland whisky (indeed, William Teacher founded Ardmore in 1898, to secure a constant supply of malt). Over 30 other single malts and some grain whisky makes up the rest of this blend. Historically, this blend contained quite a bit of Glendronach, but it is unclear if this remains the case. As expected, this is a well-rounded, smoky blend, with delicious, crisp, cereal flavours. Jim Murray praised this whisky highly, awarding it 90 points out of 100!
