A good quality Tawny port from the venerable producer Taylor’s.

The bottling is a blend of port wines which have been aged in Taylor’s cellars. The wine is matured for up three years in oak casks, producing a more flavoursome final product, with the distinctive brick-like ‘Tawny’ colour.

The wine delivers notes of figs, prunes, butterscotch, toasted nuts, strawberries, red grapes, dark chocolate, oak and brown sugar. The port enjoys a medium bodied texture.

A versatile Tawny, in a lighter style, this bottling can be enjoyed both before and after dinner.

Best served at “cellar temperature” – lightly chilled around 12Cº.
