The fourth edition of Tamdhu’s popular Batch Strength series.

This range has quickly proved to be one of the most reliable, high strength and heavily sherried bottlings around.

Batch 4 has been matured exclusively in European and American oak Oloroso casks. The result is an okay, spicy whisky which serves up notes of maple syrup, orange rind, dark chocolate, plums, preserved figs, lemon zest, sultanas, nutmeg, almonds, toasted barley, crème brûlée and vanilla.

Plentiful nutty-fruity Oloroso character here, and at a Batch Strength of 57.8% ABV, this is an assertive and aggressive whisky.
