A seriously intense Strathmill bottling from Signatory Cask Strength.

This dram was distilled on the 24th of October 2006, and bottled on the 31st of August 2020, with a final age of 13 years. The spirit was aged in refill butts, before a six month finishing process in fresh Sherry butts for 8 months, producing this astonishingly dark, rich whisky.

This Strathmill offers up notes of intense plum and juicy, jammy red fruits, with cherry and strawberry at the fore. Flavours of vanilla oak, dark toffee, cinnamon, caramelised fruits, dark chocolate, coffee, black pepper and some stem ginger.

Bottled at a ferocious 61.2% ABV and without chill filtration, this is an extremely powerful whisky with a rich mouthfeel and body.
