This is an American whiskey distilled from a ’bourbon mash’ and aged for 36 months in re-used oak barrels. Due to the use of re-used oak barrels and not new American white oak barrels, this whiskey does not qualify to be labeled bourbon. All in all, a pretty interesting take on the traditional bourbon mash bill.
