Originally released for the German Market, San Cosme is now available across Europe. One of several excellent Mezcals to be introduced lately, this represents terroir-intense, small scale distillation, using high quality local ingredients. This is produced entirely from Espadin agave, and balances earthy smokey with delicate caramel flavours. This is a Joven Mezcal, meaning that is unaged. The nose is fresh, smoky and spirituous, with a little peppery spice. The palate is refreshing and juicy, with earth, smoke, caramel, biscuit and an herbal, succulent vegetative note. The finish is long with smoky highlights. A cracking, refreshing Mezcal with a great provenance and a great price!
