An expertly crafted rum which draws upon spirit from three different Caribbean nations: Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica.
A mixture of pot-still distilled (typically heavier) and column still distilled (typically lighter) rums. This blend of different styles produces a well-balanced and complex spirit.
The rums are first aged for up to 5 years in American white oak barrels, before being shipped to France. Here Jerome Tessendier, a Master Cognac Blender uses his finely honed skills to blend together the spirit. Tessendier approaches this task with the same meticulous methods that he uses for Cognac production. He ensures that blend is more than the sum of its parts, whilst also maintaining the unique qualities of each terroir.
The blend is then finished in Limousin oak casks for a further 9 months, on the banks of the Charente River.
The result is a delightfully fruity and fragrant rum, with notes of Cognac, grapes, dried fruits, pineapple cake, mangos, melon, vanilla, honeysuckle, brown sugar and salted caramel.
This rum does not contain additional sugar and is bottled at 42% ABV for a slight boost in intensity.
