A craft American gin, made in the Contemporary or “New Western” style. This means that Juniper isn’t the primary flavour of this gin, with it taking a more floral approach.
Distilled in “very small batches” the gin is made using botanicals of angelica, aniseed, chamomile, coriander, hibiscus, juniper, lavender, lemon, orange, orris root and sencha green tea. The base is provided by 100 neutral grain spirit.
The gin takes a tea-like flavour, with heavily floral flavours up front, with the hibiscus and chamomile particularly shining through to create a comforting and warm gin.
This gin has a spring-time feel, and is well suited to sweeter gin cocktails, but also works well when paired with high quality tonic and garnished with a hibiscus flower.
