A big one litre of this, the most famous Guatemalan rum on the market.
This rum is made using the first pressing of the sugar cane, termed “virgin sugar cane honey” by the company. This produces a fragrant and flavoursome spirit with a grassy cane note.
Ron Zacapa 23 is aged in a solera system, which contains spirits up to 23 years old, and no younger than 6 years old. The rum is aged high in the Guatemalan mountains, where the temperature has an average of 17Co, considerably more mild than other Caribbean distilleries, and allowing for a longer aging process producing subtler notes.
This rum is rich in tropical fruits, toffee, and bananas flavours, with some notes of sweet wine and spicy oak.
One of the most critically acclaimed rums on the market today, drinkers can enjoy this tipple for even longer in this larger bottling.
