A luxurious XO Cognac from the House of Prince Hubert de Polignac.
This brand is named after the Polignac family, one of France’s oldest and most powerful, producing princes, dukes and cardinals. The Cognac company dates back more than 60 years, and was part of the H Mounier Cognac range until 2019. It is the official Cognac at the Royal Court of Denmark.
This bottling is made with grapes from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus - widely regarded to be the finest growing regions in the Cognac region. The eau-de-vie has been aged in French oak casks for a minimum of ten years, producing a rich and complex final product.
Drinkers should expect notes of rich apples, pears and peaches, some gentle cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, vanilla, sandalwood, balsawood, oak, slight leather, dried flowers, candied orange rind, pepper, toffee and milk chocolate.
An excellent, well balanced Cognac - beautifully presented in a decanter style bottle.
