A deeply red Sloe Gin from the wonderfully retro Pickering’s.

This bottling begins with Pickering’s flagship gin, which is flavoured with botanicals including Juniper, lemon, lime, coriander, anise, angelica, cardamom, clove and fennel, and is produced at the Summerhall Distillery in Edinburgh. This recipe apparently dates back to 1947.

To this, additional botanicals of cardamom, clove, anise, and sweet cinnamon are introduced, alongside the requisite sloe berries.

Pickering’s Sloe Gin serves up jammy notes of cherries and sloes, alongside winter spices, lemon, almond, vanilla and subtle juniper dryness.

Perfect for splashing into cocktails.
