A spiced dry gin from Sadler’s Brewery. This gin takes its name from the fearsome street gang of the 19th and 20th centuries, who controlled areas of the West Midlands known as “The Black Country”. The gang was known for hiding blades in the peak of their caps and is now the subject of a popular TV show.
The region takes its name from the colour of the soil and the prevalence of heavy industry – it is also where Sadler’s Brewery is based.
A small batch gin, made with a special selection of particularly spicy botanicals, this is a powerful and delicious expression.
The gin offers flavours of ginger, black pepper, orange rind, juniper, menthol, ground coffee, freshly chopped herbs and cinnamon.
A good value offering that has an intriguing history.
