A miniature of this tasty Irish Whiskey from the popular Peaky Blinder range.
This spirit has been bottled by the Sadler’s Brewery and Distillery. The Peaky Blinders were a street gang from the early 20th century, who used to terrorise England’s Black Country, where Sadler’s is found. They were so called because they were rumoured to hide razor blades in the peaks of their caps. The gang is now the subject of a popular tv show and more importantly… this Irish dram!
The spirit has been finished in sherry casks, producing a whiskey that serves up notes of apples, blackberries, subtle plums, toffee, brown sugar, apricots, citrus rind, crunchy malt and grassy Irish grain, cinnamon and a little chocolate chip.
A rather delicious bottling, this smaller format offers a great chance to taste the whiskey without stumping up for a full scale bottle.
