Once again, Belgium has produced an impressive gin that offers something a little different.

The gin is made in one of the oldest distilleries in Belgium, the Rubbens Distillery, which began life as a farm in 1817 and is found in East Flanders.

Papaver, meaning “poppy” is a floral forward gin, made with botanicals including poppy seed, lavender and iris.

Though a Belgian gin, this gin is considered to have a “Mediterranean” style, with a summery, fresh profile, and light dryness. Perfect for warm evenings.
