This is a gin inspired by the flavours and mystery of the Ancient Spice Route. At the heart of this gin lies botanicals of Cubeb berries from Indonesia, Moroccon Coriander and Indian Black Pepper – truly a taste of the orient! This gin is produced in copper pot stills at G&J Distillers, one of the world’s largest gin producing sites, and who have been in operation since 1761. This is a fabulously intense gin, with an excellent spicy quality alongside a zingy, zesty citrus character. The mouthfeel is soft and buttery, adding a great texture to cocktails. Since 2013, Opihr has won no less than 7 international awards, named a Master at the Gin Masters and picking up a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. This gin is remarkably good served with tonic, or even over ice, but interestingly enough, the spicy quality of this spirit makes it ideal as an alternative to vodka in a Bloody Mary.
