The Old Overholt brand’s history goes back to 1810 when it was originally distilled in Pennsylvania, and is named after Abraham Overholt, a distiller and grandfather of Henry Clay Frick. Today, it is distilled and aged at the Beam distillery, and bottled at 80-proof (40% ABV). This is a 1 liter bottling.
It is marketed together with the Old Grand-Dad brand as “The Olds.”
