A cracking well aged single grain whisky bottled by Signatory for their Cask Strength series.

This whisky was distilled at the North British distillery on the 2nd of September 1991, and bottled on the 4th of March 2020, having been matured in a single refill sherry butt for 28 years.

The result is a flavoursome and complex single grain, which serves up flavours of bright sweet grain, cinnamon, dark oak, leather, slight cracked black pepper, figs and prunes, dried fruits, toffee, walnut and creamy oats.

Bottled at a cask strength of 47.4% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a full bodied and fully flavoured grain whisky.

283 bottles were drawn from the sherry butt.
