A delightful gin produced with an Albariño grape spirit, rather than the more common grain or potato base.
Albariño (also known as Cainho Branco) produces a bright, slightly spiced and fruity wine occasionally compared to Gerwurtztraminer or Riesling.
This gin is made with a collection of 12 botanicals: bay laurel, black tea, cardamom, eucalyptus, ginger, hibiscus, juniper, lemon, lemon verbena, peppermint, sage and samphire. Samphire, or sea bean as it is known, is a coastal botanical that gives a nod to this gin’s Atlantic inspiration.
The final result is a crisp and citrusy gin, with some bright floral notes, and touches of stone fruit, sugar, sweet grapes, berries, piney juniper and menthol.
A smooth, summery gin that is presented in a map-themed bottle, featuring an arrow highlighting Galicia’s position in the North West of Spain.
