A gin that comes with quite a billing, having been ranked as the Best Gin in the World by Cigar and Spirits Magazine. The gin is produced by a collaboration of the 10th and 11th generation of a distilling family, the Nolets, at their distillery in Schiedam, Holland (also where the famous Ketel One vodka is produced). The distillery’s ethos is reflected by their distillery’s power source, a 43 metre tall wind turbine, designed to recall a classic Dutch windmill.
Nolet Silver Dry Gin is perhaps the greatest example of a super premium gin, beginning with a high quality wheat distillate and adding a diverse and rare range of botanicals, including: peach, Turkish rose and raspberry. Each botanical is individually macerated and distilled in the company’s small copper pot stills to ensure the greatest concentration of flavour. The company bottles onsite, and each batch is personally approved by a member of the Nolet family, whose 325 years of history ensures the highest quality. The gin itself brings complex floral flavours, with a good fruitiness and a classic juniper drying finish. A modern gin, which raises the bar for dry gins.
