A powerful rum, produced in Jamaica.

This is a blend of specially selected Jamaican rums, all of which were traditionally produced in pot stills. The spirits were aged in former Bourbon American oak casks, before being bottled at a “Navy Strength” of 57% ABV.

The result is an incredibly intense and fully flavoured rum, with a real emphasis on strong oak character. Navy Island Navy Strength serves up notes of wood spice, dried fruit, oak, vanilla, charred wood, dried banana, pressed flowers, coconut and some slight pineapple.

A real oak-bomb. This is not a rum for the faint of heart, but rewards patient drinking, and takes water well.
