Another top notch rum from Panama. The ten year age statement should then be taken with a pinch of salt, as this is likely solera matured and Panamanian rum regulation is quite loose. On the nose this rum brings aromas of syrup, oak, vanilla, bananas, and figs. The palate is light and buttery, with toffee, almonds, vanilla custard, sweet juicy cane, citrus rind and powdered sugar flavours. The finish is short and sweet, with a little lingering peppery spice. A wonderful rum that is great for a short sweet sipper, or for mixing in cocktails.
