The Bee emblem has stood for quality Cognac since the house of Louis Royer was established way back in 1853. Indeed, the eponymous founder of the Cognac house was an avid beekeeper. The Chateau is found in the heart of Jarnac, on the banks of the Charente River. One of the finest expressions produced by Louis Royer, this beautiful bottling displays tremendous balance between spirit and cask, with well-aged eau-de-vie creating a flavour of superb depth and clarity. This is an XO Cognac, meaning that it has been aged in French Oak casks for a minimum of 6 years, developing a fantastic maturity. Louis Royer XO is presented in a handsome decanter style bottling with a charming presentation box. This bottling picked up a silver medal in the 2014 International Wine and Spirit Competition.
