A tasty, good value gin bottling from well known whisky bottlers and blenders, Ian Macleod.
Made with a botanical recipe which includes juniper, lemon and sweet orange peel, coriander seeds, cassia bark, cinnamon, angelica, orris root and liquorice. These are macerated in neutral grain spirit to produce a flavoursome and precise gin.
The distillation occurs in a traditional copper pot still at the Langley distillery.
A juniper-forward, classically piney gin, which is balanced by notes of crisp citrus and deep earthy spice.
Described by Ian Macleod as “a versatile base for cocktails and long drinks alike” this pretty much hits the nail on the head – if you’re looking to knock up a few gin drinks, this is a reliable offering that won’t break the bank.
