One of the most popular bottlings in Diageo’s Flora and Fauna range, this expression offers a taste of Linkwood as an official release.
Speysider Linkwood is beloved by Scotch whisky connoisseurs, and has become something of a cult malt. Nevertheless, the spirit is largely limited to independent bottlings, as it has been traditionally associated with the Bell’s and Haig blends.
This dram has been aged for 12 years, and displays good balance and complexity. The bottling offers up notes of cedarwood, fresh peach and pear, anise, cloves, honeysuckle, apples, almond, herbs, honey, waxy malt and light wood.
Overall, Linkwood 12 is light, yet complex dram with a slightly waxy feel.
A great addition to any collection.
