A trendy expression from iconic Armagnac independent bottlers, L’Encantada.
GNAC is designed as a premium introduction to the spirit, comprising of 20 to 30 year old Bas-Armagnac eaux-de-vie which have been matured in black oak casks from Gascony.
GNAC is a local nickname for Armagnac, and was chosen to connect with an alternative audience to the spirit’s usual consumers. Frédéric Chappe, Trae Manager at L’Encantada said: “we wanted to speak to a younger audience, to rejuvenate the image of Armagnac.”
The result is a rich, yet drinkable Armagnac, which offers flavours of vanilla custard, honey, nutty nougat, chocolate, apples, blonde tobacco leaf, dried fruits, rancio and slightly tannic oak.
An innovative bottling that does not skimp on quality.
