A stupendously well aged Armagnac from the Domaine Artigaux, bottled by L’Encantada.

This is a single vintage spirit from 1986, that matured in a single cask in a humid cellar, until it was bottled in June 2021, with an age of about 35 years.

The resulting spirit offers flavours of bright green grapes, dried apple slices and slightly acidic apple juice, dark polished oak, vanilla, dark chocolate, toffee, some subtle mango and peach, figs, black pepper and a little warming cinnamon.

Bottled at a cask strength of 44.1% and without any chill filtration or colouration, this is a high quality Armagnac. Just 235 bottles were produced.
