A fiery, intense single malt from the Lagavulin Distillery, produced as part of the 2022 Diageo Special Releases series.

This bottling is said to be the peatiest whisky the distillery has ever produced. The spirit has been aged in a combination of refill American oak casks, and virgin oak barrels.

Immediate, intense peat greets the drinker, alongside smoked bacon, burnt malt, sea spray and kelp, smouldering oak, toffee, caramel, chilli, black pepper and roasted apples.

A seriously powerful Lagavulin, presented at 57.3% ABV.
