A Dutch produced fruity liqueur with a fantastic Chinese history.
This bottling is named after the Lady Yang Kuei Fei, who was the beloved consort of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, the final emperor of the Tang dynasty. Yang Kuei Fei was known as one of the Four Beauties of Ancient China, and such was the emperor’s affections for her, that he had lychees (her favourite fruit) brought by fast horses from the south of China, a journey of over 600 miles.
This liqueur is made with natural lychee essences, and has a subtle floral flavour, with notes of creamy berries and touches of orange, herbs, wood and juicy lychee.
Kwai Feh has a sweet and sour profile with a good level of acidity.
An excellent choice for adding a fragrant complexity to cocktails.
