A small batch bottling from Islay’s Farm Distillery, Kilchoman.

This dram is part of the distillery’s Small Batch series, which showcases its smoky spirit in different cask maturations. The whisky itself has been matured in a combination of 70% Bourbon barrels, 5% Oloroso sherry casks and 25% Cognac casks – producing a complex and sophisticated final product.

The end result is a spirit that offers notes of candied apples, pears and cherries, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ashy peat smoke, floral honey, burnt oak, rancio and tobacco smoke.

A wonderful combination of Kilchoman’s peated whisky, and the floral fruits typical of Cognac casks.

Bottled at a cask strength of 50.6% ABV, only 1260 bottles were produced.
