Machir Bay is the entry level bottling from Kilchoman, and is matured in predominately Bourbon casks, with a small amount of sherry cask aged whisky also included.

The whisky serves up plenty of ashy peat (a hallmark of Kilchoman), alongside notes of gentle wood smoke, citrus peel, slight iodine, apples, pineapple, mango, black pepper, slight dried fruit and flashes of sherry.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a full bodied, intensely smoky dram.
