A high quality Amaretto produced in Burgundy, France.
Unlike many other Amaretto brands which use apricot kernels rather than the more expensive almond, this bottling is produced using an infusion of green almonds. The nuts are macerated for weeks in alcohol, creating a liqueur which is packed full of sweet nuttiness, but absolutely free from additional colouring or flavourings.
The final result is a bittersweet Amaretto with a delicate yet assertive almond flavour and warm amber colour. The bottling is perfect for use in cocktails, drinking neat or in desserts.
I love this smooth, potent liqueur with its distinct almond flavour that lingers on my tongue. My favourite amoretto definitely.not too sickly but just right in my opinion.
