This bottling has been produced in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro since 1886.
A classic Brazilian spirit, made from the fermented juice of the sugar cane (much like Rhum Agricole), Cachaça is the vital ingredient in Brazil’s national cocktail: the caipirinha.
Janeiro Cachaça is created through careful hand selection of the sugar cane, which removes any impurities from the final spirit.
This bottling offers flavours of sweet sugar cane, slight funk, lime zest, white sugar and peppery spice.
The bottle is designed to recall the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain in the Guanabara Bay of Rio de Janeiro.
