A well-known blended Scotch whisky brand, which as been around for over 100 years.
Named after Mary Queen of Scots, called the Highland Queen in her time, the blend is said to contain malt whisky from the Tullibardine distillery, which is owned by the same parent company behind Highland Queen.
A high quality and lively blend, the whisky offers notes of caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, baked apples, pear, vanilla, a little oak, black pepper, a touch of green herbs, bright cereal sweets and a prickly grain note.
Great value for money, particularly in this larger bottle format.
