A super premium, limited edition gin from the G’Vine company of Cognac, France. This location gives something away of the contents of the gin itself. This gin is batched distilled in a copper pot still from neutral grape spirit made with the Ugni Blanc grape variety, a kind often used in Cognac due to its unique aroma and mouthfeel. The name of this offering refers to the nouaison period when the grape fruit is just budding on the vine: a period of rebirth and fertility. Reflecting this gin’s theme of rebirth and vitality is the choice of botanicals. In G’Vine Nouaison, the distillers have used a high quantity of fresh botanicals, including the flower of the grape vine itself, to create a truly unique gin. Bottled at a slightly higher strength than its sister gin, Floraison, the 43.9% ABV proof ensures that this gin has an excellent intensity of flavour and thick mouthfeel. Designed as an alternative to the classic London dry style, this gin packs plenty of spice, alongside a sweet grape and floral note that marks it out from the crowd. G’Vine suggest you serve this spirit in the Negroni cocktail, though it is easy to see how it would work well in any number of gin drinks! A real treat.
