A cracking sherried dram from Glenfarclas, originally released as a Dutch exclusive.

This whisky has been aged in former Oloroso Sherry casks in the hallmark Glenfarclas fashion. This limited edition bottling contains spirit from a small batch of barrels, which have been kept under watchful eye in the Glenfarclas dunnage warehouses.

The spirit itself delivers flavours of prunes, classic Glenfarclas Christmas cake, bright malt, cut oak, vanilla, toffee, peppery spice, dark chocolate and a gentle raisin note.

Despite being 55% ABV, this is a drinkable, approachable dram, with a full body and good balance.
