A new festive offering from Glenfarclas! This is a fantastic bottling from the old Highland distillery. This whisky was distilled on the 5th of December 1996 – festive from the very start! Matured in 9 Oloroso Sherry casks from number 7772 to 7780, the spirit was allowed to sit for over 20 years, creating a palate of superb balance. The whisky is rich in sherried fruit flavours, baking spices, vanilla and honey notes – a classic Glenfarclas in every respect. As with all Glenfarclas bottlings, this whisky has no additional colouration. It is also non-chillfiltered, and bottled at 46% ABV, allowing the mouthfeel of the whisky to be full and creamy. The spirit is presented in a bottle with a special Christmas label, featuring a charming scene of the distillery under snowfall. This is, of course, the ideal Christmas present for the Scotch lover in your life. This is a genuinely small batch production, with only 2,400 bottles available worldwide – move fast to avoid disappointment!
