Well, well! A spirit that is unusual to say the least!

A traditional Icelandic spirit, the malt used here has been smoked over sheep dung.

This produces an entirely unique flavour, with a deep earthy, intricate, smoky and sweet character. Indeed, Flóki translates from Icelandic as “complex”.

All the barley used to make this young malt was grown on Iceland. This is an extremely limited release, with just 10 casks being bottled in 2017.

Bottled at 47% ABV, this only serves to emphasize the smoky, warming character of this dram.

A great spirit for the adventurous out there, who want to try something different. Flóki would also make a good gift for the drinker who seems to have tried everything.

What is there left to say apart from: this stuff, it’s the shit!
