A very curious spirit, created by Eimverk Distillery (Iceland’s only whisky distillery), which is a single malt, but is currently too young to be called whisky. This is a spirit produced using entirely Icelandic barley grown in Garðabær – and as the island is so cold, no pesticides are required, meaning that this is an entirely natural spirit. The spirit offers a real taste of Iceland, with a clean, fresh and buttery character, accompanied by plenty of spice and woody vanilla. Flóki Young Malt is presented at a feisty 47% ABV, and free from chill filtration or unnatural colouring.
