This heavily peated Islay single malt was added to the Finlaggan range in 2016, and with its strength of 46% it positions itself right between the cask strength and lower strength versions of Finlaggan. While it doesn’t quite reach the same levels of intensity as the cask strength Finlaggan, it cannot be denied that this whisky packs a plenty of raw, unadulterated Islay character. Another great dram from Finlaggan, and certainly one that offers very good value.
