An excellent Fettercairn single malt, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice range.

This whisky was distilled in 2007, and has been aged in a refill American oak Hogshead. A single cask dram, the spirit was matured for 14 years before being bottled in 2021.

The end result is a whisky that serves up notes of grapefruit, black pepper, oak, lime rind, fresh orange zest, honey on toast, malt and crème brûlée.

Zesty, fruity and sweet, this is a superb rendition of the Fettercairn spirit.

Bottled at 59% ABV exactly, only 320 bottles were produced from this single cask.
