A gin that made a big splash when it first hit the shelves, due to its distinctive pale pink hue! Coloured gins are something of a rarity, so this offering from Eden Mill certainly stands out from the crowd (which seems to increase in size with every week). Drinkers should note that you cannot distill colour, so this gin has likely been coloured after distillation. The gin is a curious, yet delicious blend of local botanicals with exotic fruits. As demonstrated by the marvelous old milk-style bottle’s imagery, the rose is a key flavour botanical here, alongside the hibiscus. Wonderfully fruity and floral, with a bright strawberry and vanilla note. Makes a very different gin and tonic, and a perfect choice for a valentine’s day gift!
