A crystal clear (not blue!) Curaçao from from Dutch liqueur masters, De Kuyper. De Kuyper can trace their distilling history back to the mid-1700s, so should know a thing or two about making a good liqueur.
This liqueur is flavoured with Lahara fruit from the island of Curaçao in the Caribbean. The fruit is so bitter as to be inedible, but it is perfect for lending powerful, bitter citrusy notes to liqueurs. Orange and lemon rinds have also been used in production, ensuring a well balanced and complex final product.
The result is a deeply zesty and fruity liqueur, with notes of bitter orange, bright lemon and a clean citrus rind flavour.
This bottling is perfect for adding a powerful citrusy flavour to a drink, without disturbing its colour.
