A rare older bottling of Highland favourite Dalwhinnie, that formed part of Diageo’s eagerly awaited 2015 Special Releases outturn. This bottling follows on from 2012’s Special Releases Dalwhinnie, which was also a 25 Year Old.

A 1989 vintage bottled in 2015, this whisky has been aged for 25 years in refill American oak hogsheads. A classic Dalwhinnie, this whisky offers up flavours of honey, peaches, dried hay, malt, apples, poached pears, pressed flowers, cereal sweetness, oak and toffee.

Bottled at a warming cask strength of 48.8% ABV, and without chill filtration of colouration, this is a delightful, well-aged expression of Dalwhinnie spirit.
