The 10th anniversary bottling of the most famous Compass Box expression, The Peat Monster. This is a limited release of approximately 5.700 bottles, released in September 2013. The blend of Islay malts both from the south of the Island and from the Caol Ila distillery, combined with Clynelish from the Highland region. It was matured primarily in refill American oak, plus 2% new French oak for finishing purposes. This is great addition to the collection if you are already a fan of Compass box or if you are just a peat head.
